Amy is a second-generation jeweler. She started making jewelry at the age of 12.
In 1979 she won honors and a gold medal for 3-d design through the National Scholastic Art Program.
She continued her studies at Gem City College in Quincy Illinois where she learned advanced custom design skills
in drawing and sketching as well as intricate diamond setting techniques, hand engraving and gun engraving.
She relocated to Daytona Beach in 1985 and quickly became introduced
and worked on a wholesale level with many of the jewelers in the area.
In 1988 Amy opened Amy’s Custom Jewelry INC. in the Daytona Flea & Farmers Market
continuing a lifelong journey of Jewelry Design, Creation and all Jewelry Repair.
